I thought the $99/mo lead gen guy was a total scam until he got me 3 clients in one zip code
A guy named Dave cold called me about lead gen for my commercial cleaning company and I almost hung up right away. He said he'd run a 30 day test for $99 and only target businesses in one zip code here in Columbus, which sounded too cheap to be real. I gave him my card mostly to get him off the phone, and by day 12 he had sent me two property managers who actually signed contracts worth around $2,400 a month combined. Turned out he just spams local Google Maps listings with his own forms and resells the leads, kind of sketchy but it works for me. Has anyone else done business with these tiny one man lead gen operations, or am I about to find out the hard way why he's so cheap?
