My biggest client in Austin ghosted us for a week after a project handoff
They finally replied saying their internal team was just overwhelmed, but that radio silence had me sweating. How do you handle communication drop-offs without seeming pushy?

Been there. I set a clear "next check-in" date at the handoff. If they go quiet, a single short email on that exact day just asking for a quick thumbs up or down works wonders.

Love that, @reesej27. A calendar reminder is my lifesaver too.

Ugh, that silent treatment is the actual worst. My brain immediately jumps to "they hate it and are drafting the meanest email known to man." I've found sending a super low-stakes update on my end, like "circling back with a minor thought," can open the door again without pressure. It feels less like chasing and more like you're just keeping the ball rolling.
