One bad onboarding review taught me our proposal format was the problem
A client in Austin told me our 30 page deck felt like homework, not a solution. I cut it to 8 pages with a plain summary page up front, and our close rate went from 2 in 10 to 5 in 10 over the next quarter. Has anyone else had to shrink their sales materials just to match how buyers actually skim?
That 30 page deck line hit me right in the gut, my last proposal was so long even I gave up halfway through reading it. Congrats on the 5 in 10, that's the kind of math I need in my life.
