Our lead tracking system crashed right before a quarterly review

It happened two days ago, right as we were pulling numbers for a big client meeting. The custom dashboard we built in Airtable just stopped updating, showing data from three weeks back. I spent the evening manually cross-checking our CRM exports with old email chains to rebuild the pipeline report. Has anyone else had a major reporting tool fail at the worst possible time, and how did you handle it?

Wait, didn't I read somewhere that the restart trick works because it clears out the device's memory? Like, all the little temporary files and processes that get stuck. It's basically a fresh start for the system. I mean, it fixes so many random glitches.

That "restart trick" Jade mentioned is good for a lot of things, but it's not really about clearing memory for a cloud tool like Airtable. When a dashboard stops updating, the problem is usually on their server side or in a broken connection to your data source. Restarting your own computer won't fix that. I've had it happen where the API link to our CRM just died, and the whole report was frozen until the link was rebuilt.
