Paid $2,500 for a CRM and wish I had the cash back
Signed up with Pipedrive for my moving company six months ago. Thought it would organize leads and schedules better. Truth is I still use a spreadsheet for most things and the software just sits there. Anyone else find these tools overhyped for small operations?

Haha, the "good old fashioned whiteboard" bit got me. I tried that once, spent like 40 bucks on a nice one, then immediately drew a bunch of stick figures and a sad face on it. It was just as useless as the software, honestly. Idk, maybe my brain just hates any system that isn't a messy spreadsheet where I can color code things wrong.

Man, $2,500 is a lot to drop on something that's just sitting there collecting dust. I get it though, these CRMs get sold like they're gonna solve all your problems but half the time you end up just duplicating your spreadsheet work anyway. For a moving company with maybe a handful of jobs a week, does it really need all that pipeline and automation nonsense? Sometimes a good old fashioned whiteboard and a phone works better than any fancy software. What's keeping you from just ditching it entirely?
