Warning: Our payment processor in Atlanta just changed their fee structure without telling us

Last week, we got hit with a 0.5% increase on all our B2B transactions, and the notice was buried in an email update from three months ago. It might not sound like much, but on our volume, that's over $800 a month we didn't plan for. Has anyone else using a processor in the Southeast had this happen recently?

My own bank statements are a horror show, but @diana_kim66 has the right idea.

Ugh, that's the worst. I make it a rule to check the statements line by line every month now because of stuff like that. Have you tried calling them to push back on it?

I used to just glance at the total and move on, figuring the bank had it right. Then last year I got hit with a double charge for a streaming service that went on for three months. Ever since, I sit down with coffee and go through each line. Found a weird gas station charge two states over just last week. Calling them is the only way to get it fixed fast.
