We hit 42% more leads from one blog post than our whole email list last quarter
I mean, we wrote this case study for a client in Phoenix about their supply chain software, just a normal post. But it got picked up by a niche industry site and brought in 87 qualified leads in two weeks. It just made me think, maybe our content plan is off. How do you even plan for a random win like that?

Read a marketing book that called these "accidental niches." The author said to treat surprise wins like data points, not luck. You basically found a hungry audience you didn't know was searching for that exact case study. Your plan should bend toward that topic now.

Ever have that happen where one post just blows up? Don't overthink the plan. You can't plan for luck, but you can make more of it. Look at that post and ask why it worked. Was it the specific problem you solved? Then go write more content that solves that exact, painful problem for that same group. Double down on what clearly worked.

Used to think you needed a whole strategy. This post changed my mind. Just do more of what already worked.

@sean51 reminds me of the time I accidentally became the "snail mail" guy. Just kept posting and it snowballed.
