Went from 3 follow up calls to 1 after changing one thing in my service proposal

I swapped a generic pricing table for a simple ROI calculator specific to their industry and my close rate jumped from 30% to 65% over the last quarter, has anyone else tried breaking down their B2B pitch that way?

Did a buddy of mine try this in his software sales and went from 5 calls down to just 2?

Wait, @gibson.morgan , did your buddy's numbers actually drop that much or was he just making fewer dials overall? I've seen this backfire where people cut calls and their pipeline dries up in like 30 days. You gotta be real careful with that sort of change because the math only works if your conversion rate goes way up.

Yeah thats totally fair and I feel for anyone who's tried this and watched their pipeline just fall apart. The math has to be perfect or you're screwed. Ive seen it go both ways in my own circle. A guy I know cut his dials by half but doubled his prep time and somehow his conversion rate barely budged. People forget that if you drop volume too fast your pipeline goes cold and you can't get it back quick. Its a risky play unless you have a solid referral base or inbound to cushion the fall. I hate seeing good salespeople crash and burn from a strategy that sounds good on paper but just doesnt hold up.
