Mapped a route through the Smokies that took 4 hours longer than the guidebook said
The water crossing near Cosby Knob turned into a 2 mile bushwhack after rain washed out the bridge, and my GPS died at mile 11, so has anyone else found those official trail times are way off after a storm?

Read the park service posted about that washout last week, figures the times hadn't caught up yet.
