Trail markers on the PCT near Bend vanished after one wildfire season

Tbh I hiked that stretch in June with clear signs every half mile, came back in September after the fires and spent 90 minutes lost because every post was either charred or gone, is anyone else re-navigating routes that burned over this summer?

Nope, I gotta disagree with @aaronsullivan, those markers were already fading before the fires and the real issue is the forest service budget cuts.

Damn that's rough, losing all the trail markers like that would mess with anyone's head. Glad you made it out okay, hope the next stretch you hit has better luck or at least some cairns left behind.
