A guy at the lumber yard said my deck stairs failed code by 1.5 inches, so I tore out 7 treads
He measured the rise at 7.75 inches instead of 7.25 and I spent a whole Saturday redoing stringers I'd already glued and screwed, so now I check tread height with a tape before anything else, has anyone else had a yard guy catch something like that?
