Poured a concrete pad for my shed last month, and doing it in two small batches was way easier than one big pour

I did my 10x12 shed base in two 2-yard batches two weekends apart in my backyard in Reno and the seams still came out dead level. Has anyone else split a small slab like this, or did you rent the mixer and do it all at once?
