Serious question, did building my raised beds 18 inches tall actually stop the rabbits like my neighbor Ray in Akron swore it would?
He told me last spring that anything under a foot is just a salad bar for them, and I laughed, but after 2 summers of chewed up kale I finally tried it. Now I've got 6 boxes at 18 inches and not one nibble, so was Ray just lucky or is that the real magic number?

My 6 inch beds were basically a kale buffet for those little punks.
