Third time rebuilding the same shed corner this season

My shed in Columbus has had the same corner rot out twice since spring, and I just ripped it apart again after a storm last Thursday. Turns out the original builder never put a drip edge over the trim, so water runs straight into the framing every time it rains. Anyone else fighting a recurring fix that keeps coming back because of one stupid original mistake?
