Found a weird way to make 'The Room' even more fun to watch

My buddy and I were watching it last week and got bored during the long, weird sex scenes. We started making up dialogue for the other actors in the background, like what the flower shop clerk was thinking. It turned the whole movie into a live-action improv game and we were crying laughing. Anyone else have a goofy trick like that for getting through the slow parts of a bad movie?

Used to just sit there bored out of my mind during those scenes lol. Your idea is way better, turning it into a game. We started a rule where you have to drink every time someone says a line that makes no sense. The movie becomes a whole different experience, almost like you're not even watching a bad movie anymore. It's more about the stupid stuff you and your friends add to it. Might have to try your background character bit next time.

We used to do something like that with old sci-fi movies. Every time a spaceship made a weird noise, we'd have to guess what it was supposed to be. A broken coffee maker, a cat stuck in a tube, that kind of thing. It got so silly we'd forget the plot entirely. Turning a boring movie into a group game is the only way to get through some of them.

Heard about a friend who started narrating the movie like a nature documentary. They said it made the awkward parts hilarious instead of boring.
