Hitting 50 bad movies in one month changed my brain
Started a challenge to watch one terrible movie each night after my shift. Made it to 50 by the end of the month. Noticed I started laughing at plot holes in real life. Like watching the news and thinking 'that twist was worse than The Room'. Anyone else hit a weird milestone like that?

Wait, did you start noticing bad writing in real conversations too?

Is it really that serious though? I mean, Dave watching too many horror movies and then seeing bad acting in gazelles is kind of funny, but I don't think it says much about real conversations. Most people just talk to get through the day, not to follow some plot. I've known folks who read too many mystery novels and swore they could spot a liar from across the room, but it always turned out they were just reading too much into stuff. Maybe Dave just needs a break from the TV, not a whole analysis of how life is scripted. It seems like a stretch to say bad writing seeps into how we actually talk to each other.

My buddy Dave watched 40 straight days of 80s horror sequels and now he can't watch a nature documentary without yelling "bad acting" at the gazelles. He called me last week to complain about how the weather report had a "predictable plot arc.
