Just realized I rate bad movies differently now than I did in 2021
Back in 2021 I had a whole point system: 0 to 10 for acting, 0 to 10 for plot, and if the total was under 5 it made the good-bad pile. Now I just watch the first 15 minutes and decide if it feels fun. Last week I rewatched a movie I gave a 2 out of 10 back then and laughed the whole time, so my old numbers mean nothing. My friend says numbers keep you honest and stop you from calling everything a gem. I say the numbers made me skip stuff that was actually a blast. Tbh I would rather be wrong and have fun than right and bored. How do you all sort the keepers from the duds without a spreadsheet?
