Nearly lost my mind watching 'The Room' with a live audience

I was at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin last Saturday for a midnight screening, and some guy in the front row kept yelling spoilers before every scene. I told the manager after 20 minutes, and they kicked him out before the infamous rooftop scene. Has anyone else had a screening ruined by someone who doesn't get the whole 'so bad it's good' vibe?

Did you ever think about starting a support group for people who got kicked out of movies? lol Because I definitely deserve a lifetime achievement award in that department. I once got removed from a showing of "Birdemic" for laughing too loud during the scene where the birds are clearly just paper cutouts, and the manager gave me a look like I personally insulted his grandma. Your story hits home, man - it's like some people just don't get that the whole point is to laugh at the trainwreck, not be the trainwreck yourself. I've learned to sit in the back row now and whisper my sarcastic commentary only to my friend, because apparently having a sense of humor is a federal crime at these things.

Take the manager's side for a second. People paid to watch a bad movie seriously, not to hear your standup routine. Laughing loud enough to distract others is basically you deciding your enjoyment matters more than theirs.
