Rant: The 3am Birdemic screening at the Alamo Drafthouse changed my bad movie rules
I went to the midnight showing of Birdemic 2 in Austin last month thinking I'd seen it all. But when the crowd started quoting every line at 3am and someone threw a plastic bird prop, I realized the real magic is the audience, not the film. Now I only watch bad movies with a full room, solo viewings just don't hit the same. Has anyone else had a screening that completely flipped how they judge these flicks?
