Showerthought: My uncle in Bakersfield bet me $50 I couldn't sit through Troll 2, and he was dead wrong about why
He told me it was unwatchable and I'd turn it off in 20 minutes, but I made it the whole 95 minutes and laughed harder than at most real comedies. Turns out the acting was so wooden and the goblin masks so cheap that it looped back around to being a blast, and I still bug him about losing that bet. What movie did someone swear you'd hate that you ended up loving?

Ever had a movie someone trashed turn out to be your new favorite? Napoleon Dynamite for me, my sister swore I'd hate it and now I quote it constantly.
