Watched a movie called Shark Exorcist 3 times in one weekend and my roommate hid the remote from me
So two weekends back I was scrolling around at like 1am on a Saturday and found this movie called Shark Exorcist on one of those free streaming apps, and I figured it would be dumb fun for maybe 20 minutes. Three hours later I had watched the whole thing twice and started it a third time just to make sure I actually saw what I saw. There is a scene where a priest yells at a shark and the shark's mouth moves like a hand puppet, and I rewound that part probably 15 times. My roommate came out at 3am, watched two minutes, said 'this is a war crime' and went back to bed. By Sunday night he actually hid the remote in his sock drawer and told me I had a problem. I get why normal people hate these movies, but there is something about zero budget effects and a script that sounds like it was written during a lunch break that just does it for me. What is the one movie you have watched way too many times even though everyone around you thinks it is garbage?
Troll 2 is mine. Watched it maybe 40 times and I can quote the whole thing start to finish. The acting is so bad it loops back around to being art. There is no way those people were in on the joke, and that is the best part. Everyone I show it to asks me why I hate them. Something about a movie that swings that hard and misses that bad just makes me happy.
