Watching 'The Room' with my mom was the most awkward 2 hours of my life
We were at my apartment in Seattle last month and I put it on, forgetting about the infamous love scene. Honestly, the look on her face when Tommy Wiseau started groaning was priceless. Has anyone else had a family viewing of a 'so bad it's good' movie go totally sideways?

shanef34 is right, that's brutal. My dad walked in during the spoon scene in "The Matrix" and just stared at the screen for a full minute. Family movie night with weird films is a special kind of risk.

What's the worst that could happen? A little awkward silence never hurt anyone, and at least it gets people talking. Honestly, those weird movie moments make for the best family stories later on.
