Spent $85 on a fancy silicone baking mat and it warped after two uses in my oven
I thought I was being smart ditching parchment paper forever but this thing literally curled up on itself making a mess of my cookies, has anyone else had luck with a specific brand that actually holds up to high heat?

You sure you didn't accidentally have it above like 500 degrees? Most silicone mats top out around 450 and if you're doing serious heat they just buckle. I switched to the Silpat brand after my cheaper one did the same thing and it's been fine for two years now. Also check that your oven rack isn't warped on one side, that can twist the mat. Cookies spread even too, not just the curl.

My friend Jenna actually had this exact thing happen with her mat and it was completely the oven rack. She kept blaming the mat, bought a new one, same problem. Turns out her cheap apartment oven had a rack that was slightly bent from someone probably dropping it. She just flipped it over and the mat lay flat after that. Ngl she felt pretty dumb but her cookies finally stopped sliding into each other like a weird baking domino effect.

My friend's oven rack was bent like @roberts.leo mentioned, turned the whole silicone pad into a taco shell.
