That one Tuesday where every single batch of cookies came out perfect
I had this random Tuesday about 3 weeks ago where I was just gonna make a quick batch of chocolate chip cookies for a thing at work. But then I decided to try that browned butter trick I saw on a blog and man it worked better than I expected. I did 3 more batches after that - peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, and even some shortbread - and every single one came out golden with the right texture. Usually I mess up at least one tray or forget the salt or something. My kitchen smelled like a bakery all afternoon and my wife came home and grabbed 4 cookies before dinner. The weird part is I wasn't even trying hard, just sorta in a flow state. Has anyone else had a day where you just cant mess up no matter what you try?

3 batches in one afternoon is seriously impressive.

Honestly those flow state days are the best. Tbh I had a similar thing last month with pancakes. Made like 4 batches for a lazy Sunday and they all came out fluffy and perfectly golden. Ngl that browned butter trick really is a game changer, it adds so much depth without extra effort.

nah man i gotta push back a little @leehall. browned butter is good but it can be too heavy after a few pancakes. i tried it once and by the third batch everything felt greasy. regular butter with a tiny pinch of salt hits the same spot without making you feel like you need a nap
