Vent: My attempt at no-waste banana bread flopped hard
Tried using old oat milk instead of fresh. Batter looked weird from the start. Bread came out gummy and sour. Big fail in the kitchen. But hey, at least I used up something that would've been tossed.
Oh man, that takes me back. I once tried making sourdough and my starter turned into this weird, rubbery blob. It felt like a science experiment gone wrong, not food. Had to toss the whole thing, jar and all, it was basically a concrete block.
