My mom's old copy of Slaughterhouse-Five made me see it different
She told me last week that her junior year teacher hid the book in a desk drawer for students to borrow after it got pulled from the school in 1972, and hearing that made me wonder if banning a book just makes kids want it more, has anyone else gotten a copy from a parent or grandparent that way?

Man, my grandma hid a banned book in her bible and I found it 30 years later, still took me three weeks to read it!
