Got banned from a gardening group for posting my dandelion harvest

Last spring I picked about 12 pounds of dandelion greens from my own yard in Cleveland and made three jars of jelly plus a big batch of pesto. I posted the process in a local gardening group because they talk about edible weeds all the time, but the admin said I was "promoting invasive foraging" and banned me after one warning. The funny part is my neighbor uses the same yard for her organic vegetable beds, so it's not like I was tearing up some park. Has anyone else been booted from a group for doing something totally within its stated topic, or did I just hit a weird power-tripping mod?
