Got banned from a gardening sub for saying hybrid seeds aren't evil

I posted that saving seeds from hybrids is fine if you know what you're doing, not everyone needs open-pollinated heirlooms. The mods called it 'misinformation' but I've been growing hybrid tomatoes for 5 years and they're still producing just fine.

Man, I got banned from a recipe site for saying you don't need a special knife to cut an onion...

Nah I get why they'd ban you though, recipe sites are weird about their knife sponsorships. A decent chef's knife makes cutting faster but you're right that any sharp blade works if you know what you're doing. Still, saying it in the comments probably came off like you were dismissing the whole point of their paid content.
