Got flagged for sharing a 3D print file I designed myself

Posted a free STL of a camera mount I built for my old Canon on a maker forum, and they yanked it within an hour because it 'looked like a commercial product'. The design took me six evenings in my garage in Austin, and I even shared the Fusion 360 source file so anyone could tweak it. Anyone else run into mods who can't tell a hobbyist from a vendor?

Man that takes me back to when I got banned from a telescope forum for posting a picture of my homemade eyepiece adapter... they thought I was selling knockoffs or something. Just because you put a little effort into your gear doesn't mean you're running a business out of your garage, right? I mean, I literally wrote my name on the side with a sharpie and they still flagged it. That forum had this whole drama about counterfeit mounts, so any new member posting anything even slightly custom got the boot. Good luck getting your file back up though, maybe just blur out the branding next time or call it a "personal project" in the title.
