Got silenced for saying the moon landing footage we have might be the backup copy
Last month I posted on a space history forum that the original Apollo 11 tapes were erased and re-recorded over, which is a documented fact from NASA. I said the versions we see today are copies, not the originals. Someone with 20k followers called me a conspiracy nut and the mods gave me a 30 day ban for "misinformation." The truth is NASA admitted in 2006 that they accidentally wiped the original tapes. I even linked the press release. Why is stating a boring, sourced fact harder to post than people flat out saying the whole landing was faked? Has anyone else been banned for pointing out mundane official records over dramatic rumors?
