Just realized my Facebook ban came from a 3-year-old comment on a local bakery's page about their pricing

I got permanently banned from Facebook last week over a comment I made in 2022 saying the $7 croissants at that bakery near my office in Portland were overpriced, and when I appealed they just sent back a generic "decision stands" message with zero explanation.

Honestly I used to think people were overreacting about how strict Facebook moderation is, but seeing stuff like this totally changed my mind. Getting banned over a bakery comment from three years ago is insane.

People really acting like getting banned from Facebook is the end of the world, but its just a platform to post memes and argue with strangers. You can still text, call, and go outside so whats the big deal. Maybe just log off for a bit and touch some grass.
