Brought my recalled silicone spatula back to life with a $4 metal detector trick
After last year's big spatula recall for melting into food, I tested 11 of my old ones at a scrap yard in Toledo and found 3 with metal cores, but the one that flaked black into my spaghetti was perfectly safe, so has anyone else actually checked if their 'dangerous' gadget was the real problem or just the bad batch?
