Got roasted on a grill forum for using lighter fluid, now my burgers taste like actual food
Posted a pic of my setup on r/grilling back in March and some guy named Dave from Kansas City replied 'you're tasting fluid, not fire, throw that bottle in the trash.' I was mad for a week but tried a chimney starter anyway, and the difference on my $89 Weber was night and day. Now I'm wondering what other shortcuts I've been defending just because nobody called me out. What's the one cooking habit someone had to shame you out of?
