Just lost $90 on a 'banned formula' sunscreen from eBay

I bought this vintage sunscreen that got pulled off shelves back in 2019 because of some skin irritation reports. Paid $90 to a seller in Ohio, thinking the old formula had that nice thick texture. It showed up last week and the bottle was half empty, plus the smell was like rotten bananas. I checked the batch code and it expired in 2021, so I basically paid for crusty old goo. Has anyone else chased down a discontinued product and got burned by an expired stash?

Guess @claire_davis31 proved me wrong, I used to chase old formulas but this story just killed that for good.
