Pro tip: nail polish remover gets spray paint off skin and vinyl siding
I finished spraying a fence line last month and the overspray dusted my arms and the house trim, painted beige. Acetone free remover did nothing, but the cheapest dollar store stuff with pure acetone took it right off. I tested it on a hidden corner of the siding first, waited 5 minutes, and it did not eat the paint underneath. Has anyone else found a weird use for a product that got banned or pulled from shelves? I remember those old aerosol paint removers with methylene chloride were amazing for this before they got recalled.
