PSA: I used Goo Gone on a recalled toy's sticky residue and made it way worse
Found a vintage pull toy at a garage sale in Akron for $3, turns out it was one of those 1970s ones pulled for lead paint. I scrubbed the sticky leftover sticker gunk with Goo Gone before I knew that, and it ate right through the paint and into whatever was under it. Anyone know if a museum or a collector would even want something like this anymore, or did I just turn a banned product into trash?
