A regular told me my fades felt rushed and it stuck with me
He said it felt like I was just trying to get him out the door, especially around the temple area. I started adding an extra five minutes to every appointment to really focus on that blend. Has anyone else had a client point out something that made you slow down?

I mean, that kind of feedback can mess with your head. Maybe it's not even about the time, but the rhythm of your hands? Like, if you move too fast in one spot it just feels frantic.

Honestly, you just described my entire approach to washing dishes. Get super focused on one stubborn plate, scrubbing like a maniac while the rest of the sink fills up. It's not efficient, it's just panic cleaning. My rhythm is all over the place, totally frantic.

Panic cleaning" is exactly right. I do the same thing with laundry, getting obsessed with one stain while the rest just sits there wet. It feels productive but it's just making more work for yourself later.
