Had a walk-in yesterday that tested every bit of patience I had
Guy sits down, says he wants a fade, then proceeds to argue with me about every single guard I picked up. Told me a 2 was too long and a 1 was too short. After 15 minutes of back and forth I finally just said 'you tell me exactly what you want' and he couldn't describe it. Ended up with a 1.5 blend and he walked out looking exactly like the picture he never showed me. Anyone else get these clients who know what they don't want but have zero clue what they actually want?

No picture and 15 minutes of arguing? I'd have lost it.

My buddy Tom once held up a whole fishing trip for 45 minutes trying to find his lucky hat... we were all standing there by the truck, poles loaded, ready to go, and he's just tearing through his duffel bags, getting more and more frantic. Turns out the hat was on his head the whole time, tucked under his hoodie. We didn't let him live that down for like two years, would still bring it up every time we went out. So yeah, I get it... some people just get tunnel vision on the smallest thing and the rest of the world has to wait.

15 minutes of arguing" holy crap. That's insane. I can't believe someone would waste that much time over a missing picture. I would have been done after 2 minutes tops. Some people just have zero self awareness about how long they're holding things up.
