Hot take: cheap clipper blades are false economy after my third scalp irritation complaint

I grabbed a $15 set of off-brand blades off Amazon like 2 months ago to save some cash. First month was fine but last week I had three different guys complain about redness and burning after their cuts. Swapped back to my old Wahl blades and haven't had an issue since. Anyone else run into this with budget blades or just me?

Three times in a week is way too many complaints to ignore. My dad used to say you pay for quality or you pay twice, and I see that everywhere now. Cheap dish soap leaves a film on glasses, bargain trash bags split open, and those budget phone cases crack after one drop. We save a few bucks up front and end up costing ourselves more time and frustration later.
