Rant: Bought a $300 clipper vacuum system and it's been a game changer for cleanup

I got tired of sweeping hair all day and picked up one of those vacuum attachments that hooks to your clippers. It was about $300 with the hose and filter. The first week I used it, I cut my cleanup time after each client in half, easy. My station stays way cleaner through the whole day now. Has anyone found a good way to keep the hose from getting in the way when you're doing detail work?

My old shop had a similar setup but the hose always tangled around the chair legs.

$300 seems steep just to avoid a broom. @jesse_price27 had the right idea, those hoses are a pain.
