Shoutout to that $80 barber cape with the magnetic clasp

Saved my neck from itchy clippings all day. Anyone found a cheaper one that works just as well?

Magnetic clasps are a game changer for keeping clippings out. The cheap velcro ones always leave a gap at the neck. It's one of those things where paying more actually makes sense.

Saw a barber on YouTube tearing apart those cheap velcro neck strips. He showed how the material stretches over time and just can't seal right. Totally backs up your point about the gap. The magnetic ones seem to have a solid piece of plastic or something that actually clicks shut. Makes you wonder why the cheap brands even bother with velcro anymore.

Yeah, the velcro ones are basically a single-use item. Magnets cost more but they actually last.
