I was scrolling through a barber forum last Sunday and saw a post about how the average fade takes 45 minutes if you're doing it right, but most shops book 30. That math hit me weird... I've been squeezing cuts into 30 minute slots for two years and rushing through the blend. Tried a 45 minute slot this week for a regular in Portland and the difference was night and day. The guy even noticed his neckline was cleaner. Has anyone else tried padding their appointment times and seen the work improve, or is it just me?
