The 82 year old barber on my route in Abilene still sharpens his own shears
Stopped in for a cut during a 34 hour break and he pulled out a whetstone older than me, saying new blades cut too hot and burn the hair, and now I'm wondering if any of you sharpen your own or just send them out.
