Took me 3 fades to figure out why my clippers kept dragging on one side

Turned out the blade was slightly warped from dropping it on the tile floor 6 months back, and I kept adjusting my wrist instead of checking the blade itself. Swapped in a $22 replacement blade and it cut clean on the first pass. Anyone else ever chase the wrong fix for way too long before checking the obvious part?
