That 'barn patina' look is getting out of hand in this group
Everyone seems obsessed with keeping rust and dust on these finds, but I restored a 1971 Datsun 510 last year from a shed outside Fresno and stripped every panel down to bare metal. The difference in handling and safety was night and day, and I think we're romanticizing decay over actual function. Anyone else feel like patina is just an excuse to skip the hard bodywork?
