Vent: spent 11 days fighting one rusted bolt on a 1968 Ford F100 out of a field in Guthrie
Pulled this truck home 3 weeks ago and thought the cab corners would be the hard part, but no, it was one single bed bolt that had fused itself to the frame. I soaked it in PB Blaster for 4 days, hit it with heat, snapped two extractors, and finally cut the head off with a grinder just to get the bed separated. All told it ate 11 days of my evenings for one fastener that a torch and a bigger breaker bar would have handled on day one. Any of you got a go to trick for rusted frame bolts, or do you just skip straight to the cutoff wheel like I should have?
