A guy in a Facebook group said my posts looked like ads, and he was right
I run a small page for my woodworking side stuff and was stuck around 400 followers for months. Back in March a guy in a creator group commented that my captions sounded like a catalog, all "check out my latest" and nothing else. He said the algorithm pushes posts people reply to, and mine gave nobody a reason to type anything. So I switched: now I post one work in progress photo and end with a real question, like which finish they'd pick for walnut. My last 5 posts got 31 comments total versus 2 before, and reach went from around 600 to 2,100 per post. Has anyone else noticed that a plain question gets more push than a full write up with all the details?
