Honestly the algorithm killed my engagement after I posted a 47-second reel last Tuesday

Tbh I had one follower who always commented 'nice content' and after that reel tanked, they just stopped interacting. Has anyone else lost a loyal commenter after a single flop post?

Did you try posting the same clip at a different time? That fixed it for me.

Had a buddy of mine, totally separate niche from me, same exact thing happened. He posted a 48-second travel clip and one of his regulars who always commented "keep exploring" just vanished after that. He tried everything and @ryanm60's tip about changing the upload time actually worked for him. Posted the same reel at like 7pm instead of noon and the engagement came back, but that commenter never did. Some people just move on I guess, no rhyme or reason to it.
