My fyp went from 300 views to 40k after I stopped posting for 5 days
Came back from a move in Oakland with zero drafts ready and just reposted an old clip, that one blew up while my fresh stuff stays dead, so is the algorithm actually punishing consistent posting or rewarding cleanup breaks?

i actually think the algorithm picks up on engagement patterns more than posting schedules... when you disappear for a few days, the people who still watch your stuff are the real fans, and that tells the system your content has staying power. plus reposting an old clip that already had some traction can give it a second life with a fresh batch of eyes. the fresh stuff probably just needs better hooks or timing, not a full break... maybe try posting at different hours or testing a few thumbnails before you blame the pause itself.
