Overheard a girl at the coffee shop say she posts at 6am and it changed how I think about timing

I was grabbing a latte and this lady was telling her friend she posts her art at 6am sharp every day and gets twice the engagement. I always just threw stuff up whenever I felt like it, usually around noon. Now I'm wondering if I've been missing out on a window where people are actually scrolling before work. Has anyone else tried a weird specific time that actually worked better than the usual advice?

What if 6am works because everyone else's 9-5 posts all hit the same feed at once?

Read some study that said algorithm bots check engagement in the first hour, so timing actually matters.

Used to roll my eyes at the whole "post at 5am" crowd but tried it with my landscaping before/after shots and engagement doubled easy. Makes me wonder how many people are quietly scrolling with their coffee before the daily chaos hits.
